Photographic Copyright

You will probably have arrived at this page if you have clicked on the “copyright URL” of one of my online photographs or from the Rail Photography section of the Railreports website.

The photographs on the RailReports website are my own work entirely, except where clearly stated. Any photograph published by a fellow railway photographer on the website will always be fully credited and will have the authors name printed clearly on the bottom left of the applicable photo.

If you are interested in obtaining any of my photos either for publication or for personal use, please contact me, initially by using the website mailform for permission stating which photo(s) you would like.

  1. If you are a private collector, modeller etc and you require photos for PERSONAL USE (i.e. in a modelling project etc.), and you can accept digital copies by email, there is normally no charge. However, if you require prints, my standard charge is £4.50 per print (8’x10′) plus postage and packing. Please contact me with your requirements. You must not reproduce or distribute copies of any photograph acquired for personal use.

Please note that digital images are securely watermarked so that if they appear in digital form on any unauthorised website, I will be informed and legal action may follow.

  1. If you are a rail enthusiast and you require any of my photos for a non-profit or society magazine, please send me full details of your requirements by using the website mailform or by instant message via the Railreports Facebook page.. There is normally no charge for non-profit or society publications. My full credit as photographer must be given for the photograph in the publication concerned.
  2. If you are a commercial publication or magazine and you require any of my photos, please send me full details of your requirements by use of the website mailform .
